The MARC
The journey of what we now call MARC began back in 1936, when the company Götpapper Presentreklam AB was founded in Gothenburg. Götpapper was one of the first players in the Swedish market for gifts and office supplies. Following significant growth—including the establishment of regional offices in cities such as Stockholm and Malmö—the company, then led by Björn Ericson, shifted its focus toward advertising, promotional products, and corporate gifts. It was through this transition that we found our identity in projects more akin to those of an advertising agency. In 2009, the company changed its name to MARC—standing for Marketing, Advertising, Relations, and Creativity—and adopted a more modern logo.
